The Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin (MMBA) is a nonprofit that accepts donations of breastmilk from healthy breastfeeding women, pasteurizes the milk, and dispenses it by prescription to premature and sick infants, primarily those in the hospital. MMBA is one of several milk banks in North America that is a member of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America.
